Read carefully the terms and conditions related to our online money transactions service through Havana-Mart. To ease your shopping, you should take into account the using rules established by Rights and Duties.

Registration to the Online Service

To shop products to be delivered in Cuba or sending packages to this country through Havana-Mart, you should log in and create a personal account. The process is very easy, go to My Account at the upper right corner and then go to Login and click to fill out the form. You can also register by going directly to Login.

In this form, we ask your user name and e-mail, as well as other personal information that you should keep for further online money transactions. Do not share this information with someone else in order to prevent fraud. Otherwise, our website is not responsible for the security of transactions, refunds and protection of your personal information.

Access to your Personal Account

If you have made a money transaction through Havana-Mart, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail, as well as all the information regarding your shopping and sending from our website. You will also have access to your account by inserting your personal information in My Account, where you will be able to make changes concerning your e-mail, address, pone number and other details.

Money Transactions

After choosing the products you want in our shop, you must log in to your account by inserting your last name and e-mail. The amount of the transaction charges and the sending cost is calculated automatically on your bill at the end of the process, in Canadian dollars.

You can also make the conversion into the currency of your country by using the Currency Change section at the bottom left corner. The total amount you must pay appears in the bill model, from where you can delete products, cancel or confirm the transaction.

Once the transaction is approved, you must insert the information of the addressee or the beneficiary of this service in Cuba. Immediately, all the information inserted so far will appear on the screen (your shopping, cost, your personal information and the information of the beneficiary in Cuba). After checking all data, you should insert the required information concerning your credit card. After credit card validation, our service goes on. In a few minutes, you will receive the confirmation of transaction by e-mail.

Forms of Payment

We accept online payments by credit cards Visa – Mastercard – American Express or by Money Order International. You can also pay Cash by going directly to our offices.

Using of IP address

In order to prevent fraud, our computer security system registers your IP address every time you visit Havana-Mart. These data allow us to validate the user identity, the access code, transactions, requests and online payments.

Responsibilities of Client Member

You can not have more than a client account in Havana-Mart. You are the only responsible for providing the right information of your account, credit card, as well as the information regarding the addressee or beneficiary in Cuba.

Havana-Mart will not refund the online payments if you insert an incorrect information about the address or destination in Cuba, either if you make a mistake at the final transaction of your shopping.

We do not offer credit if the total amount of the transaction is not approved by the authorized side. In principle, the decision belongs to the credit card holder or to the person properly authorized. Take precautions on this matter!

Rights and Duties of Havana-Mart

Havana-Mart reserves the right to access to your personal profile and verify your transactions often, so to prevent fraud and money laundering. Havana-Mart reserves the right to close your account, reject or cancel a transaction you have made in case of any violation of restrictions or using conditions, that is, if we have reasons to believe that:

You have provided a wrong information about yourself.
You have given the information of your personal profile to someone else.

In case of irregularities from the client, Havana-Mart reserves the right to fine the conditions of the contract in accordance with the Canadians laws. The client will be informed about the changes by the e-mail of his personal account, without affecting the terms of the previous transactions.

Havana-Mart is not responsible for money loss from the client in case of technical problems beyond our control such as: a virus, a fraudulent action, piracy, an operational mistake, a robbery, a forbidden access, a faulty telephone line, a computer in not good working, incompatible computer programs or any other unfavorable or damaging condition.

Havana-Mart has the right to demand a 15 days delay to the client before giving a service, whenever becomes necessary an inquiry into the origin of a transaction, in accordance with the international regulations and practices regarding this matter.

Dispute Regulations

When faced with disputes concerning a service given by Havana-Mart, both parties (you and us) are committed to sort out the disagreement before arbitration. The decision is final and without appeal.

Collateral Damages

Havana-Mart is not responsible, either directly, indirectly or by accident for damages and loss claimed by a third party before the law.
